Jonathan Smith, a linebacker prospect from Durham, and Jay Wooten, a kicker from Laurinburg, intend to play for UNC if the next coach wants them. Dwight Jones, a receiver from Burlington, said that he would still play in Chapel Hill despite Bunting's dismissal.
