Carolina can’t make the adjustments, free throws to beat Duke

From the time it became clear that forward Isaiah Hicks wasn’t going to play, it was a game of adjustments for North Carolina. No. 18 Duke’s tough perimeter defense and screening action on its offensive end required additional challenging adjustments that the No. 8 Tar Heels didn’t make often enough in an 86–78 loss Thursday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
