Think about everything going on in that moment: siren blaring, thousands of butts rising all at once out of seats, a parade of pom-poms ruffling on the sidelines — and yet, the most important thing was a tiny little poke. Kennedy Meeks barely did it, too. If he took a second longer? The shot clock — and possibly UNC’s hopes of returning to the Final Four — would have expired.
