This is the 13th 30-win season for the Tar Heels. Joel Berry and Justin Jackson both scored 20-plus points for the fifth time this year. Kennedy Meeks had 11 rebounds and passed Mitch Kupchak (1,006) and Brad Daugherty (1,003) for seventh place in UNC history in career rebounds with 1,011.
