“It’s hard to recover from missing a free throw short,” Theo Pinson said. “If it’s long, you have a better chance of making the second one. But if it’s short, there’s a good chance that you’re going to miss the second one, and that it’s going to be short, too.” With that on his mind, Pinson gambled on Kennedy Meeks missing short again, timed his leap perfectly and tipped the ball out to Joel Berry.
