Embracing tough love: Meeks pushed to high level on way to championship

As the confetti rained down signifying UNC’s claiming of the NCAA championship, senior forward Kennedy Meeks found coach Roy Williams for a meaningful bear hug. That shining moment at University of Phoenix Stadium, the Tar Heels’ title quest and Meeks’ college basketball career now complete, was the product of years of tough love endured by Meeks.
