3rd-round DT Nazair Jones overcomes rare illness to join Seahawks
Posted Apr 29, 2017
Nazair Jones became the second defensive tackle drafted by the Seahawks on Friday, with Seattle using the 102nd overall pick to acquire the 6-foot-5, 304-pound North Carolina Tar Heel. As a senior, Jones recorded a career-high 70 total tackles, 2.5 sacks and three pass breakups. His long arms (34? inches) and strong hands (10? inches) are what impress most.
