UNC’s key to football success is keeping Larry Fedora happy

At 40-25, Larry Fedora holds the second-highest win percentage (.615) of any Tar Heel coach in the ACC era (dating to 1953). Coaches trailing him in that category include Mack Brown, Bill Dooley and Butch Davis. Just two seasons ago, UNC was 11-3 and claimed the ACC’s Coastal Division title. The Ws, however, aren’t the only sign of stability at UNC today.
