UNC Position Battle Preview: Wide Receivers
Posted Aug 1, 2017
The leader of UNC's 2017 wide receiver group is 5-10 senior Austin Proehl. Right behind him is 5-11 junior Thomas Jackson, a former walk-on. Proehl grabbed 43 passes for 597 yards and three scores in 2016, while Jackson came out of nowhere to catch 17 balls for 186 yards and four touchdowns. Proehl will start on the outside but can play all three receiver spots.
