McGill A Doak Walker Award Candidate

North Carolina senior tailback has been named a candidate for the Doak Walker Award, which is presented annually to the nation's top college running back. A native of Clover, S.C., McGill was limited to seven games last season after missing the first four due to a chest muscle injury. He still rushed for 75.7 yards per game, which would have ranked fifth in the ACC. (Tar Heel Blue)
