Panthers DE Julius Peppers shows up Sundays even if he doesn't during week


All the Panthers care about is that shows up for game day like he a always has in collecting 143.5 sacks -- fifth most in NFL history -- since the Panthers made him the No. 2 pick in 2002. Peppers wasn’t signed be a media spokesman. The Panthers brought him in because at an age when most NFL players are retired, Peppers continues to play at a high level. (ESPN.com)
