Senior Ronnie McGill, who has missed nine games over the last two seasons with injuries, will have to stay healthy, and the young right side of the offensive line will have to grow up quickly. But with two experienced tailbacks in McGill and Barrington Edwards -- plus a new offensive system that is supposed to emphasize straight-forward running -- the Tar Heels could be in position to boast their first 1,000-yard rusher since 1997.
