Hargrave Military Academy to give UNC recruit Chavis a chance
Posted Aug 17, 2006
Miguel Chavis is getting a second chance to play his senior season of varsity football. Chavis has gained entry to one of the nation’s premier prep school football programs at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., and will begin working out with the post-graduate squad there today. The move comes less than 48 hours after the news broke that the 6-foot-4, 252-pound defensive end/fullback was declared academically ineligible for his senior season at Terry Sanford.
