Tar Heels celebrate title amid removal of NCAA burden

Standing there near midcourt at the Smith Center, eyes fixed toward the ceiling and the spotlighted corner where national titles are displayed in this building, juniors Luke Maye and Kenny Williams said tears were difficult to contain for veteran players, particularly senior guard Joel Berry, as the Tar Heels’ newest addition joined their banner collection Friday night.
