Get used to the sound of it: 'Linebacker Greg Ellis'
Posted Aug 12, 2006
The Dallas Cowboys may soon need to adjust their training camp roster printouts. They're going to have to stop listing Greg Ellis as a defensive end. After eight seasons anchoring the line, Ellis' conversion to left outside linebacker is almost complete. Ellis is no longer a part-timer at the spot, limited to certain situations. He's quickly becoming the regular at the spot opposite DeMarcus Ware in the most dynamic spots on the team's 3-4 defensive front.
