UNC loses out on Love, but it's OK
Posted Jul 28, 2006
Fortunately for Roy Williams, his staff and UNC fans, the Tar Heels could go without signing a player this year and be fine, even if Tyler Hansbrough leaves. Deon Thompson, 6-8 in height but with a longer wingspan, and 6-9 Alex Stepheson should be capable of handling the inside duties. They are both powerful players, although neither is close to being as polished as Hansbrough or Kevin Love.
