Freshmen show promise for Tar Heels

There were more than glimpses of what North Carolina coach Roy Williams wants to see from his freshmen in the post during the weekend. But Williams isn’t about to sign off on the performances from Garrison Brooks, Sterling Manley and Brandon Huffman. They combined for 24 point and 14 rebounds against Tulane. “I’d take that every day,” said Williams. (Burlington Times News)
