North Carolina defeated Western Carolina, 104-61, on Wednesday at the Smith Center. UNC shot a school-record 72.7 percent from the 3-point range making 16 of 22 shots from the perimeter, and outrebounded the Catamounts 53-25 while improving to 9-1.
