Carl Torbush announces retirement as ETSU head football coach

East Tennessee State announced Friday that head football coach Carl Torbush will retire. Torbush was tasked with restarting the Buccaneer football program in June 2013 and has totaled over 40 years of coaching experience, including head coaching stops at North Carolina and Louisiana Tech. Torbush began coaching at Carter High School in Knoxville in 1974.
