Tar Heels Grow Up In Hostile Environment

For a Tar Heel team that only held the lead for 89 seconds of the 40-minute battle, the sense of relief and satisfaction of escaping with a win in the hostile environment was immediate. “It was huge for us,” junior forward Luke Maye said. “I feel like it’s great to get in this environment, have a sellout, get in a great game and assert our dominance. It’s a good win for us.”
