Tar Heels need full effort vs. Virginia

Effort has become an issue for North Carolina’s men’s basketball team. The Tar Heels want more of it. “It’s all on us as players,” junior guard Kenny Williams said Friday. “It’s nothing that Coach (Roy Williams) can do. It’s up to us to flip the switch.” UNC goes to No. 8 Virginia Saturday for its second road assignment against a nationally ranked team in four days. (Burlington Times News)
