UNC maintains record home streak against Clemson...barely

The North Carolina Tar Heels managed to keep college basketball’s longest home winning streak intact Tuesday by turning back the Clemson Tigers for a 59th straight time, 87-79, but it required a little blood and guts to make it happen. The No. 15-ranked Tar Heels fought off a second-half charge that saw the No. 20 Tigers cut a 19-point deficit to two with 6:15 to play. (Fayetteville Observer)
