Wednesday's top news:

Everyone's got an opinion on what's working and what's not for UNC basketball this season. The Daily Tar Heel wrote that ' small ball tactics are working...and then the Virginia Tech game happened. Art Chansky lists several issues the Tar Heels are facing, while Inside Carolina does the same in their podcast.

On the basketball recruiting front, visited 2019 5-star power forward in Austin, Texas on Wednesday. He'll visit 2019 power forward on Sunday, per Sherrell McMillan of Inside Carolina ($$$). 2019 UNC point guard commit will make his official visit to UNC the weekend of Feb. 2 for the Pitt game.
