NCAA tournament bracket: 2018 March Madness West region capsules
Posted Mar 13, 2018
It was an up-and-down season for the Tar Heels after losing several pieces from last year’s title team. The low points were losses to Wofford at home and three consecutive defeats in January. A strong finish has given the team hope of an extended tournament run. The experience of Joel Berry II and Luke Maye — part of five upperclassmen starters — is one big advantage.
