Charlie Scott set his sights on Rucker League and reached Hall of Fame

When Charlie Scott was growing up in Harlem, he never gave a thought to becoming a Basketball Hall of Famer. His goal was to get a spot on the playground in the fabled Rucker League. He got both. Scott was in the Hall of Fame class announced Saturday and introduced as part of Final Four weekend. “When I grew up, New York was the pinnacle,” said Scott.
