Thursday, April 5, 2018 is the 25th anniversary of North Carolina's 1993 National Championship game win over Michigan. The Tar Heels defeated the Wolverines 77-71 to clinch UNC's third NCAA National Championship and head coach Dean Smith's second title. In the game, UNC guard Donald Williams scored 25 points on 8-for-12 shooting (5-for-7 from three).
