The 1982 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship is one remembered by many. Arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan, hit the spotlight when he nailed the game-winning shot to win the title for UNC. This is regarded as the first time Jordan introduced himself to a national audience, but that moment almost didn’t happen.
