Tar Heels radio man touched many: Service for Woody Durham brings fond memories

Woody Durham’s impact on University of North Carolina athletics and fans of Tar Heels near and far was often felt by students and athletes in Chapel Hill. It spread for years to follow. That was clearly evident Sunday afternoon as hundreds gathered to celebrate the life of the legendary broadcaster at Carmichael Arena. Durham died March 7 at age of 76.
