Intangibles place Joel Berry in running for Sullivan Award

Joel Berry sparked Lake Highland to back-to-back state basketball championships before helping UNC win its sixth national championship in 2017. He is a finalist for the AAU Sullivan Award — to be presented Tuesday in Manhattan to the top amateur athlete in the United States — largely because of his leadership and an ability to overcome almost any obstacle.
