Ellis Wants Commitment With New Role
Posted Jun 6, 2006
Cowboys defensive end Greg Ellis doesn't want a new contract. He doesn't want any more money. In fact, Ellis said he told head coach Bill Parcells he doesn't even want to start. All Ellis wants from the Cowboys right now is commitment. The Cowboys are asking Ellis, who has played the last eight years as a defensive end, to accept a new non-starting role in the 3-4 defense that will be a cross between an outside linebacker and situational pass-rushing end.
