Bill Dooley recovering after surgery

Former UNC football coach Bill Dooley has been admitted to Duke University Hospital after having an aortic aneurysm Monday. Kevin Best, UNC's director of football communications, said that Dooley had "major surgery" and has been in the hospital since Monday night under an assumed name. Dooley, a 1995 North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame inductee, was rushed to the hospital Monday night after a banquet and awards ceremony at North Carolina Central.
