Right Guard Competition Narrows

A pair of freshmen are battling for North Carolina’s starting right guard position 10 days into training camp. “You’ve got Billy Ross and William Barnes fighting it out right now,” UNC head coach Larry Fedora told reporters following Tuesday’s practice. “It’s been really good competition between those two guys.” The challenge for Barnes is learning the entirety of the offense.
