During one practice in 2015, then-defensive coordinator Gene Chizik needed a physical athlete at receiver on the scout team to test his defensive backs. Freshman quarterback Anthony Ratliff-Williams, who was watching from the sidelines, was tasked with the job. “I'm watching him making some catches against our first-team DBs and I'm thinking, ‘dang,’” Larry Fedora recalled.
