Plenty of Uncertainty Looms Over UNC Football’s Season Opener at California This Saturday

As the UNC football team heads west for its season opener against California, the Tar Heels face uncertainties they hope to find answers to. The most glaring obstacle relates to 10 players who are suspended for the game for selling team-issued shoes. In addition, tailback Michael Carter and defensive lineman Aaron Crawford are banged up and will miss the game.
