Rasheed Wallace mulling over NBA return

Wallace, who retired after 15 seasons in 2010, has been working out and probing some close league friends about possible destinations to sign for the rest of the season, sources said. Most Division I basketball coaches were quick to accept an invitation to play in the prestigious Dixie Classic. The tournament had been started in 1949 by Everett Case three years after he became the head coach at North Carolina State, and it quickly became a phenomenon. Each year the four major North Carolina basketball schools—N. C. Hawks' Marvin Williams sidelined

Atlanta Hawks forward will miss at least two games because of a sprained left ankle he suffered in Saturday's win over Chicago. The Hawks say Williams will not be with the team for both Monday night's game at New Jersey and Wednesday's game at Indiana.
