Tar Heels have offer out for Mike Copeland

A possible late addition to North Carolina's freshman class could help offset its depth problems in the post. Mike Copeland of Winston-Salem Reynolds High has a scholarship offer contingent on his qualifying academically, Copeland's father said Sunday. Mike Copeland Sr. said his son is re-taking a history course and an English course this summer in hopes of meeting NCAA qualifying standards.
