Posted May 19, 2008
Grambling State is hiring a coach with experience in both the SEC and historically black colleges to take over its men’s basketball program. Rick Duckett, an assistant at South Carolina in the Southeastern Conference since 2001, will replace ninth-year head coach Larry Wright, who was let go on April 1 after establishing a 88-161 record. Duckett has previously worked as a head coach at both Winston-Salem State and Fayetteville State.
