Sam Perkins to Enter New York City Basketball Hall of Fame

Rod Strickland, Sam Perkins and Kenny Anderson will headline this year's class of inductees to the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame. Veteran college coach Pete Gillen will receive the Coaches Award. , Bob McCullough will be recognized as a Contributor to the Game, and city hoops scholar Joe Goldstein will be honored with the Trustees Award. Ceremonies will be held Sept. 17 at the New York Athletic Club.
