Heels say they will reveal Brandon Tate's MRI results today


was scheduled to undergo tests in Chapel Hill late yesterday to determine the severity of the knee injury that he suffered in North Carolina's game against Notre Dame on Saturday. Tate was scheduled to undergo an MRI exam at UNC Hospitals at 5 p.m. on his right knee. Coach said he did not know the results when speaking to the UNC beat writers in his 5:45 p.m. teleconference yesterday. (Winston-Salem Journal)
