North Carolina WR Hakeem Nicks. So much for the idea that UNC's passing game wouldn't survive the season-ending injury to star receiver Brandon Tate. Nicks had three touchdown catches and 127 receiving yards in the second quarter alone before adding a 12-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of the Tar Heels' 45-24 rout of Boston College. Nicks finished with eight catches for 139 yards as North Carolina rallied from an early 10-0 deficit.
