Durell Mapp signs with Packers
Posted Apr 29, 2008
Durell Mapp signed a free-agent contract with the Green Bay Packers on Monday after a solid college career at North Carolina. "I think it's a good situation for me, because Green Bay didn't draft a linebacker," Mapp said. "I talked to the Packers throughout this process and I like their linebackers coach (Winston Moss). He reminds me a lot of (UNC assistant) Coach (Tommy) Thigpen.
