UNC Football Players Facing Charges Will Participate in Spring Practice

UNC football players Zach Rice, Travis Shaw, and Malaki Hamrick will participate in spring football practices while facing misdemeanor charges stemming from a car crash in January that killed a UNC student. Brown said Monday that the three players are subject to "consequences with disciplinary action within our program" when legal proceedings conclude.
