Many Bobcats fans, even those with misgivings about Raymond Felton's abilities, have grown to respect Felton's toughness and willingness to accept what has been an ever-changing coaching direction throughout his college and professional careers. At North Carolina, Felton endured the mutiny that effectively ended Matt Doherty's coaching career before he was a key figure on the Tar Heels' 2005 title team in Roy Williams' second season as coach.
