Miami Heat assistant Bob McAdoo honored
Posted Feb 8, 2009
Longtime Heat assistant coach Bob McAdoo missed the start of Saturday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Not that anyone could blame him. McAdoo was on his way back from Chapel Hill, N.C., where he was honored by his alma mater, UNC, during halftime of the Tar Heels' game against Virginia. McAdoo was among eight Hall of Famers -- all former UNC players and coaches -- honored at the Smith Center.
