Posted Feb 17, 2009
Shortly before the 2008 Olympics, just before the birth of his second son, Ademola Okulaja got the diagnosis: Cancer. The captain of the German national basketball team now talks about the fight of his life. "When I came into the room and sat down, there was not only my doctor, but all the other physicians. They said they discovered a dark spot on the vertebra. More accurately, the vertabra was broken, crumbled by a tumor."
