Timberwolves trade McCants to Kings

The Minnesota Timberwolves have swung one trade today in advance of the NBA's 2 p.m. deadline. The team announced that it has agreed to send guard Rashad McCants and center Calvin Booth to the Kings in exchange for forward Shelden Williams and point guard Bobby Brown. Williams (6 feet 9, 250 pounds), a second-year player from Duke, has averaged 3.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 10.2 minutes with the Kings this season. (St. Paul Pioneer Press)
