Legendary ACC Team No. 14: 1998 North Carolina
Posted May 21, 2009
Explosive, gifted and seemingly unflappable, the 1998 North Carolina Tar Heels were so close to being regarded as one of the program’s three best teams ever, yet they fell short. Antawn Jamison was the national player of the year as a junior. Vince Carter’s game had finally clicked. Shammond Williams should rank as one of the program’s most underrated players ever. And Ed Cota was a wizard dishing the basketball.
