One day after trade, Grizzlies buy out contract of Jerry Stackhouse

One day after the Grizzlies helped facilitate a four-team NBA trade, they bought out the contract of the player they received in the deal, former all-star Jerry Stackhouse. In a deal that also involved Dallas, Toronto and Orlando, the Griz received guard-forward Stackhouse, a 13-year veteran with a career scoring average of 18.4, and Toronto's second-round draft pick in 2016.
