James Worthy, former Tar Heels visit Gastonia
Posted Jul 12, 2009
James Worthy gave back to the community again Saturday at Medical Center Pharmacy, bringing along with him five Tar Heel greats for autographs and pictures in an effort to raise money for the Gastonia Boys & Girls Club. “This is the village that raised me,” Worthy said. “Some of the people you see here and my teachers, those I played with, high school buddies. These are people that helped shape my foundation.”
