Antawn Jamison named NBA Eastern Conference player of the week

Washington Wizards forward Antawn Jamison was honored as Eastern Conference player of the week Monday after averaging 25.3 points and 9.7 rebounds as Washington went 3-0. It's the first time Jamison has won the award. Jamison led the Wizards to victories over the Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers last week, helping his team get above .500 for the first time since early February.
